Vendor Information

FAQ'S:

Security:
• Security will be provided during the overnight hours on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• Vendors are responsible for covering your merchandise and booth openings with tarps, and securing your booth.

Trash:
• Vendors are responsible for leaving booth spaces & area CLEAN. All trash from your operation must be removed when you load out. Failure to do so will jeopardize your return to future events. There is a dumpster on site & all waste must be placed in its proper receptacle. Food vendors must dump all waste and gray water in specified locations.
• Vendors are NEVER allowed to dump ANYTHING on the ground. Food vendors are responsible for collecting and disposing of any/all gray water All Food Vendors must comply with Lewis County, WV health codes.

Attendance:
We can accommodate up to 3,000 music lovers per day.

Insurance:
• All food vendors &/or any vendor selling an item to be consumed on site, must provide proof
of insurance.
• ALL vendors must sign a liability waiver, before they will be permitted to set up on festival grounds. This waiver releases Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum, its affiliates, and the owners from any liability pertaining to a vendor, their staff, &/or operation

Taxes: Vendors are responsible for collecting & paying their own local state sales tax, on all items sold at the festival.

Kids:
Kids under 12 admitted free, if accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.

Camping/Hotels:
• Please contact the vendor coordinator regarding accommodations &/or camping.
•You may camp on the back of the property for free, with your vendor passes. This is for primitive camping only & is first come, first served, starting at noon on Thursday. Vendors wishing to secure these spaces are responsible for doing so themselves. No camping is permitted on the festival site.
**No special provisions, such as power is available. Vendors wishing to purchase limited spaces for RV’s must do so ahead of time. Individuals are responsible for securing their own spaces for the weekend. Unmarked campsites left empty during the day, could be taken by the time one returns for the night. Please make sure your space is clearly marked/ defined, when you leave.

We maintain a zero tolerance policy against weapons.

Moonstruck Music Festival is rain or shine.

Friendly Tips:
• Bring in your necessities (coolers/beverages/etc.) during load-in.
• Bring plenty of…
- Coin (if applicable) and cash change! There is no ATM on site, yet there are banks in the general area.
- Drinking water/fluids
- Sun block & a hat
- Everything you need to be there all day. Getting in and out, once the festival is underway, may be difficult and time consuming.

Times: Depending on the event(s) that you choose the check-in and vending times are different. However, your booth must be open at all times while the event is open.

Location: Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum located at 71 Asylum Drive, Weston, WV 26452. We are just 3 miles off Interstate I-79 headed west on Rt. 33. The site is National Historic Landmark and is absolutely incredible, we're sure you'll love it too!

Attendance: Our events and tours brought close to 25,000 people to Lewis County in 2009. That makes 40,000 visitors since opening in March of 2008.

Correspondence: All vendor correspondence will be conducted via email when possible, with the exception of official acceptance/denial letters. Please be sure to check your email regularly prior to the event for any notices or changes posted, as well as load-in time scheduling.

Products: We wish to offer a quality mix of food, services, and goods.
All products must be listed on your application and approved. Vendors may not sell any item with the TALA logo(s) without the express written consent of the owners. Additionally, you may not sell any item with the name or image of any act playing the festivals, without express written consent of said artist.

Your booth/display must have: Displays secured against wind/weather.

Vending Fee Includes:

Space: Non-Food: 10' x 10' | Food: 10’ (wide) x 15’ (deep)
If you require more space than this, you must notify us in advance and fee will be adjusted accordingly.

Passes: Non-Food: 2 weekend passes, 1 car pass | Food: 4 weekend passes, 2 car passes. If you have additional employees you will be able to purchase extra weekend or day passes from us at check in.

Electric: Generators are allowed. Please contact us if you need to hook up to our electric.

Water: Limited water is available.

Camping: Some events over free primitive accommodations are available for vendors. RV connections are not available, but RV spaces are available & must be arranged with vendor coordinator at time of arrival. All spots are first come, first serve.

Vendors will be required to sign a release of liability waiver upon checking in. No vendor will be allowed to set up until waiver is signed.
